Spring in Valley Forge
Okay, I don’t know about you guys, but this year’s weather has been bizarre. It stayed really cold, then got super warm, and then got cold again. The plants don’t know what to do or when to bloom. Usually in April, I have flowers and leaves a plenty. This year? Nothing. There were hardly any leaves on the trees at Valley Forge, but luckily, this place is beautiful even without them.
The Couple
Let’s talk about Arielle & Bryan. These two are the absolute cutest. I absolutely loved them from the moment we met at our first consult meeting, and I fell even more in love with them at their session. At one point, I uttered the words “our wedding” when referencing their October nuptials. I like to scootch myself right into my couples’ relationships, apparently. #sorrynotsorry The way they look at each others brings my heart such joy. I was also warned that they may be awkward in front of camera, and I am just going to stop that madness right now. That’s obviously ridiculous… I mean, look at these photos… swoon.
A Special Location
Arielle & Bryan didn’t choose a Valley Forge engagement session on a whim. Although they may live in the general area, that’s not the reason. Bryan proposed to Arielle here back in December! He got down on one knee in front of the Arch, and Arielle’s dad was able to capture some photos of that special moment. Unfortunately, due to a wreath laying ceremony, they weren’t able to get photos under the Arch, but we took care of that! It may have been too wet to get photos on the bench where the proposal went down, but we took photos in front of the bench. AND we went exploring, and ended up at the Philander Chase Knox Estate for the end of our session. This engagement session was such a fun time, and I absolutely can’t wait for Arielle & Bryan’s October wedding at the Barn on Bridge.
